Falcons NBL1 Women into finals

Looking unlikely at the mid-point of the season, the Falcons NBL1 Women have unleashed an impressive 8 game winning streak to sneak into the finals of this first NBL1 season.

The Falcons overcame a slow start to the season as their WNBL experience lifted the group and the close losses started to become wins.

Two wins from two games in their recent Tasmania trip cemented the Falcons into finals, and they'll take on the Nunawading Spectres in an elimination final on August 3rd at Nunawading.

In a tricky quirk of scheduling, should the Falcons win against Nunawading, they will have a short turnaround, playing their next final the following day.

It'll be a good problem to have, if it means the Falcons continue to advance through further into the finals.

The game time for the game against Nunawading will be confirmed following this week's men's finals first round.
