Falcons retain stars, add exciting young talent
11/12/2019

The Waverley Falcons have wasted no time locking in some of their star players from the 2019 season, along with a couple of exciting new additions.

Import big man Deondre McWhorter is back for another season of big slam dunks, and joining him from the USA will be guard Troy Steward, and exciting long range shooting and explosive athlete.

The Falcons have also retained leading local players for their men's team, with Bennie Lewis and Michael Harper returning, while Kelly Bowen and Renae Mokrzycki will be back again for the Falcons women.

Among the new faces in the 2020 season will be Jake Heath for the men, who is coming off a huge season with Blackburn in Big V State Championship, and Aneta Bandilovski for the women, who was a leading player for Keilor Thunder in Big V State Championship.
